Tin Plating Services (Electroplating)
N-W Precision Finishing Ltd has provided electroplated bright and satin tin plating finishes to B.S. 4393 for over 30 years. Our expertise in providing precision barrel, bright and satin tin plating services is currently employed in numerous industries including a global leader in batteries, rail, electronics, defence and aerospace industries.
N-W Precision Finishing Ltd can underplate tin electrodeposits with copper plating to enhance solderability and improve durability of the tin deposit in high temperature applications. A copper underplate prior to tin plating will minimize migration of alloying metals such as zinc from the substrate into the tin deposit in applications such as battery terminal inserts/posts, switchgear, terminal spades or fuse caps.
Coating thicknesses are measured by the use of an X-ray Fluorescence ( XRF ) Equipment.
